Hey guys its Rey and I’m back with a three day streak hopefully we can keep this going. And I brought a friend with me today her name is jade and her and I will be discussing the documentary.

Itinerary:
Now today we are going to be discussing Shane Dawson’s brand new episode that he uploaded to youtube today. Along with some other responses regarding the mind of Jake Paul.

So without further ado lets get started!

As of today Shane just put up a new youtube video titled “ The family of Jake Paul” Here are a few statements he made in this video,

So okay I wanted to like jump in and do an update and also a disclaimer and also an apology thats a lot. uh I do actually want to apologize because there was some backlash from people feeling offended, and feeling like I was making a horror movie out of all of an illness or disorder and I 100 percent understand and I think I got carried away with the whole like ooh I can make this scary. And I love editing scary stuff and I didn’t completely think this through and like to treat a person like a scary monster is like not cool and I shouldn’t have done that and I apologize for that genuinely. Another thing I saw was like it was insensitive to diagnose Jake. The truth is he knew the whole time.

Going onto the fact that Shane was scared of Logan the entire time of making this video. Shane actually never talked to Logan directly because everyone said, he didn’t have to everyone said that he wasn’t going to care.
but then Logan tweeted,


“I really didn’t want to but i feel compelled to give my thoughts on Shane’s series thus far blehhh”

Shane started to freak out so he dm-ed Logan.
Here’s how the conversation went since I can’t put the full sound clip in there I’ll read the receipts.

Shane- Sorry if you were offended that I kinda insinuated you as a sociopath.

Logan- yo dog I think what your creating is fucking incredible. I know your a good guy with good intentions but I just feel like the audience might be ignorantly mislead. So I want to address some things.

Shane- So do you think you might be a sociopath?

Logan- I think I’m on the sociopathic spectrum. I wouldn’t say I’m a sociopath but I would absolutely say I have sociopathic tendencies. At the beginning of the year I was I a place in my life where they got the best of means they consumed me. Which is when it gets dangerous. Life is more complex then he’s a sociopath and he’s not. Jake for example definitely has tendencies. We all do. But he’s also nice and empathetic as fuck. And at random times and off camera he’s nice for no reason like feeding the homeless. This is a trait he’s had that I’ve always envied.

Shane- Do you feel empathy.

Logan- of course I feel empathy the level at which I feel it defers for each topic though.


Now in this episode, Shane try’s to understand a bit more about where Jake and Logan are coming from. In the beginning this was a bit more towards Jake but now it’s leaning more towards Logan.
Here are a few things Shane found about Jake’s life that might be linked to his reckless behavior and attitude.

This is what Shane found out about Jake from his first vlog.

Jake ran a red light, told a dog to jump out of a window, tried to catch his girlfriend, encouraging his friends to fight and disobeying a security guard. Which obviously doesn’t make him look good.

After Shane goes on to research his parents.

They are both divorced

The dad is abusive and the mom is a bit odd with a very sweet heart.


My opinion) I think this whole series went a bit controversial and I mean everyone has there own opinion. So I can understand Shane will obviously face some backlash. I think Shane is going deep and trying to give everyone an explanation we’ve all been waiting for. My overall thought Plus Many news articles have covered Shanes new documentary, Tubefilter, Mashable, The Whit Online, Polygon, INSIDER, and The Verge.
