About Andrés Botero
Andrés is a strategic designer focused on future design and systems thinking, with over 17 years of experience in the design world. He has had the opportunity to participate in highly challenging projects across different parts of the world, from the Americas to Asia, where he has taken on various roles between strategy and implementation. Among his achievements, he was part of the team that created one of the most prominent neobanks in Latin America today (Nequi) and worked on strategic projects for Huawei (Shenzhen). Currently, he is a Design Senior Manager at BBVA, based in the Madrid headquarters, where he leads the design perspective on high-impact projects that affect the bank's customers globally. Lastly, Andrés is studying philosophy because he believes that the future of design lies in strengthening critical thinking and reflecting on our work as designers.
