Matt is a Detroit Mercy alumnus with a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity who has nine years of military background. He has experience ranging from tactical operations in Afghanistan to non-kinetic research and development involving space, cyber and electromagnetic ware fighting domains. Matt’s role in the DOD involves leading multiple teams in developing special access program (SAP) requirements for emerging military technologies to counter adversaries gains in the electromagnetic spectrum. In this podcast, Matt describes the difference between kinetic and cyber warfare with real world examples while pointing out the advantages of joining our military cybersecurity operations as an enlisted service person or as a highly paid contractor.
