Professor and therapist Heather MacIntosh Ph.D discussed with our member Deziray DeSousa a therapy she has developed to treat marital problems in survivors of complex trauma. Complex trauma, the impact of trauma on intimate relationships, attachment and the process and specifics of this therapy are addressed. The episode concludes with a discussion of the effectiveness of this treatment and some advice from the therapist.
