Mr. Casedonte and Mr. Columbo were old friends. They went way back to before the crime families had their foothold in their perspective cities. Mr. Columbo died earlier this year, leaving his family to his daughter's management. No man in his right mind would threaten the Head Chef, but a lady, Mrs. Columbo is another story.
