Explosive new claims about the relationship between the late Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have emerged from royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith. 

Quoting the monarch’s cousin Lady Elizabeth Anson, a picture emerges of the Queen who not only felt her grandson had been rude to her and but may also have been unsure of his relationship. ‘We hope but don’t quite think she is in love,’ Anson is reported as saying. ‘We think she engineered it all.’
