Russo Binks is a Denver based poet turned rapper. He has been busy working to take his career in Hip Hop to the next level. At 30 years-old he feels slightly behind the curve but he won't let that or any other obstacle stop him. It took him a while to discover the passion but he's there. After years of alcohol and drug abuse hindering his creativity and work ethic, he has now got his head on straight and is prepared for the road ahead. He started writing and rapping as a way to cope with life, his addiction and the loss of his brother. He vows to never lose that raw authenticity. No matter what the pressure to not be yourself in this industry may feel like, he knows there is a way to make it and still be who you want to be. Even when they tell you you can't.
