With fellow contemporaries like No Apologies and Iron Mind roaring back to life and dropping career-best records, the time feels right for Australian hardcore staple 50 Lions to emerge from hibernation and drop their first new music in almost a decade.

Drummer Dave LePage joins the show to chat about the band's new hard-hitting full-length, 'New Reality,' out October 3rd via Last Ride Records (Aus) and Six Feet Under Records (US).

Dave discusses the logistics of recording an album with members spread across the country, why Aussie hardcore is in such a good place, how creative freedom opened the group up to new sounds and ideas, the hunger and vitality of youth, and if we'll ever get that Carpathian reunion everyone keeps nagging him about.
