It’s Abby’s Picks again, so you know what that means…it’s Sci-Fi time! We’re talking about the 2006 dystopian sci-fi thriller V for Vendetta paired with the 2009 mockumentary style District 9. Remember, remember…da fifth of November!

In the aftermath of a destructive world war, London is under occupation and police control. Despite the tight grip of authoritarianism, a rebellious vigilante known as V stands up to the corrupt and controlling government. Using forms of spectacle and terror, V fights back and soon discovers an ally in a woman named Evey.
