Description
Sir Anthony is a scholar of Trinity Hall, Cambridge with Double First in Law Tripos. He practised as a barrister of Gray’s Inn at the Commercial Bar between 1962 and 1992 before being appointed to serve as a Judge of the Commercial Court, in the High Court, until 2007. Sir Anthony was the appointed Presiding Judge of the Court 2007. Upon retiring from the Bench, Sir Anthony has become an internationally renowned arbitrator and regularly invited to speak around the world on matters of commercial law and commercial dispute resolution.
Between 2010-2103, Sir Anthony also served as the Deputy Chief Justice of the Dubai International Finance Centre. In addition, Sir Anthony is General Editor of The Practice of and Procedure of the Commercial Court and General Editor of the Encyclopaedia of International Commercial Litigation.
