A double minded man is unstable in all of his ways.  The person who straddles the fence tends to get hurt.  The Lord does not like for us to be lukewarm in regards to our relationship with Him. Passionate pursuit of our God given purpose helps us to overcome the tendency to be uncommitted. Commitment inspires us and those around us to strive for more.  God’s commitment to us is best expressed by the sacrifice made to redeem mankind through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.  We can express our commitment to Him by being not just hearers of the Word but doers, also.
