Doll maker Katrina Maclean, known for her unusual creations in Salem, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to transporting stolen human remains across state lines. She admitted to helping a person in Pennsylvania obtain these remains, which were taken from Harvard Medical School. Macleans business, Kats Creepy Creations, sold oddities and bone art. She could face up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine, but prosecutors are recommending a twelve-month sentence. Maclean sometimes entered the Harvard Medical School morgue with the help of a school employee, Cedric Lodge, to pick out body parts to sell. Lodge and his wife have also pleaded guilty in this case. Maclean is awaiting her final sentencing.
