He was CEO of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) in 2009-20. Prior to this role, Adi is best known for his work on leading research and development of a Pebble Bed Modular Reactor in South Africa. He received the Australian Nuclear Association Award for 2020 for his outstanding contribution to nuclear science and technology in Australia.
