In today’s episode my guest is Dr. Naila Murray. She is from Trinidad and Tobago and is currently a Research Engineering Manager at Meta AI (formerly facebook AI). Prior to joining Meta AI she was the Director of Science of Naver Labs Europe, and a Manager & Senior Scientist at Xerox. Dr. Murray obtained her B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University in 2007, and the Masters and PhD in Computer Science from Univesitat Autonoma de Barcelona. While Dr. Murray’s career path may seem very intentional you will learn in the interview that her journey to Meta AI was on of just following the opportunities that presented themselves to her as she went along.
