Several high profile music stars are speaking out in support of The Weeknd's GRAMMYs snub. 

Drake went to Instagram to say: 
“I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after. It’s like a relative you keep expecting to fix up but they just can’t change their ways. The other day I said The Weeknd was a lock for either album or song of the year along with reasonable assumptions and it just never goes that way. This is a great time for somebody to start something new that we can build up over time and pass on to the generations to come.”

Nicki Minaj reposted Drake’s post after she expressed her own frustrations on Twitter over the matter. She said:

“Never forget the Grammys didn’t give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on billboard and bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade - went on to inspire a generation. They gave it to the white man Bon Iver.

Taylor Swift is has announced the release of her new film on Disney Plus called “folklore: the long pond studio sessions” which is full of intimate performances of the songs from her album folklore and also conversations of how the album came together. 

She revealed that her boyfriend Joe Alwyn was also a part of the creating of the album. There was a mystery writer credited under the name William Bowery which she now admits is actually Joe. She said Joe plays piano and wrote the entire piano part for Exile and originally sang the duet part that ended up going to Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon.

Taylor currently is in the process of re-recording her old music and revealed on  Good Morning America that she has already re-recorded the song Love Song.

Shawn Mendes blessed us with his new documentary this week ‘In Wonder’ but then dropped a surprise concert film on Netflix as well! He said in a post to fans “Wanted to give you guys something as a thank you for all of the love on the doc. I know we all miss live shows so much right now so tonight we're releasing ‪#LiveInConcert‬, the full concert film from the Rogers Centre show”.

Jennifer Lopez stripped down for her single album art for #InTheMorning to show off that she’s fit and fabulous at 51.
