Ducks Tame Wildcats: Road Win and Room to Grow
Update: 2025-09-13
Description
Oregon Ducks survive first road test against Northwestern! The Ducks secured a 34-14 victory, but the performance wasn't the offensive explosion fans expected. Despite two interceptions and a late Northwestern touchdown that spoiled the shutout, Oregon's defense and early lead kept them in control. Quarterback Dante Moore threw his first interception, while backups got valuable playing time. Coach Lanning sees room for improvement, especially in closing out games, as the Ducks head home with a win but potentially a slight drop in the rankings.
