Major League Baseball pitcher Dylan Cease has signed a seven-year, $210 million contract with the Toronto Blue Jays, including $64 million in deferred salaries until 2046. Hell receive a $23 million signing bonus in January and earn up to $30 million annually from 2027-2032. Cease, 29, had a solid 2023 season with the Padres and a standout 2022 with the White Sox, finishing second in AL Cy Young voting. This signing strengthens the Blue Jays rotation, following their 2023 AL East win.
