This is the third episode of the 2021 National Search Dog Alliance Podcast Conference, an eight-part series on the past, present, and future of canine search and rescue. 

This episode, I welcome Heather Cutting to talk to me about Getting Into Search and Rescue! 

Heather Cutting is in Washington State, and has been involved in Dog Search and Rescue since 1997 She is a Member of King County Search Dogs and National Search Dog Alliance.

 Heather has worked hundreds of searches in King county and Washington State. She specializes in helping new teams get off the ground. She has helped dozens of teams get to certification. She has assisted Andy Rebman and Marcia Koenig teach a number of classes over the years, and taught solo classes too. She has taught classes in: airscent/wilderness, cadaver, and water.
