- “My husband and I were shopping at a very reputable furniture store, we decided to buy a couch that cost 15,000 Dirhams, according to the price tag on the couch. However, when we got to the cashier, they let us know that it actually cost 25,000 Dirhams. What is our right? Is there a law around incorrect pricing or false advertising in the UAE?”
- “A distant acquaintance of mine made headlines in the UK because she swore at her flatmate via WhatsApp. Her flatmate reported that as a crime, and she was stopped on her way out of the UAE to go home to the UK. My question is, how can we know if there's a case against us?”
- “How legal are WhatsApp conversations when it comes to providing them as evidence in court or to fight legal battles? I've seen many people use them as an alternative to emails but I'm guessing can be easily spoofed. I'm speaking from a landlord's perspective, when it comes to communicating with my tenants.”
