In today's society, with news stories surrounding us from every direction, it is impossible to avoid influence by the media. Television, radio, newspapers and the Internet affect the way we think and consequently our behavior. Therefore, propaganda, misinformation and fake news have the potential to polarize public opinion and even subvert the democratic beliefs.

My today's guest is a person who is closely related to the media environment - a war correspondent who has been covering the events in conflict zones all over the world for almost 10 years. An air force academy graduate who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, an author of the book "Why soldiers miss war'', now lives in Ukraine and enlightens the west about the Ukrainian-Russian war Nolan Peterson.

Nolan writes for Coffee or Die Magazine, has multiple appearances on CNN and Fox News and recently has shared his expert opinion for Wall Street Journal. He of all people knows about propaganda and disinformation.
