Ateneo de Naga is one of the oldest universities in Camarines Sur. This was established in 1940 when American Jesuits took over the province. That time, it only consists of one building made of wood. During World War II, AdNU campus was used by Japanese colonizer as prison. All Jesuits (except Bro. Adriatico) were put into prison and tortured. Due to the history of the university, a lot of unexplainable occurrences are experienced till present.
