E33 Chapter 28 The Invasion
Description
Mere is attacked.
In 2019, ChattaVegan put on several community potlucks, not just in predominantly white or affluent areas, but in the rec centers of neighborhoods suffering from food deserts/swamps and financial insecurity. We provided a ton of food for the Grateful event and members even taxied in people from the surrounding areas who had no permanent homes or transportation. ChattaVegan donated to help Plan V Chattanooga provide food for the Trans Day of Remembrance. Members have represented ChattaVegan at just about every event for equality. We also put on Chattanooga's first vegan festival and continue to empower local businesses.
Maybe you don't care about vegan food, but you do care about a kinder, more sustainable, and healthier community. That's what we're about too.
If you help us continue to care for our community, your donation will be matched twice over ($10=$30). If you work for an employer that matches gifts (like Unum), imagine how that kind of money would empower to serve the community. With or without money, we're here for Chattanooga, but there's so much we want to do.
