ELY LEE VIOLIN
Ely Lee started playing violin when she was 6 years old, and playing
viola four years later. Born in Navia - Asturias (Spain), she studied at
the Conservatory of Music "Eduardo Martínez Torner" in Oviedo and
later she got a Master degree in viola perfomance from Mannes
College of Music in New York City.
Since she was little has been influenced by different genres of music
such us: Rock, Metal, Pop, Folk, Jazz, Experimental and others. These
genres combined with her classical studies create the unique sound of
Ely Lee ́s performances along with the electronic laboratory where
she experiments with all kinds of tools such us pedals, loop station
and new string techniques.

Currently Ely is a member of New Age Trio performing for Carnival
Cruise Lines where they are part of the live show “Celestial Strings”
by the Director Paul Roberts. She also produces her own covers and
original music at home.
