In the last few decades, reality TV has become a worldwide phenomenon, offering viewers a voyeuristic look into the lives of everyday people, as well as celebrities. These seemingly unscripted shows, have huge audiences who tune in for the conflicts and dramas, emotional breakdowns and shocking twists. But behind the glitz and glamour, there is a dark side to reality tv which can negatively impact on the lives of its participants. For some, there is a high price to pay for the pursuit of fame and fortune.
