Description

Join Anne & Kelli for their 227th NEW episode of #ilovemywife podcast where they are again podcasting from HOME! This podcast is super exciting because they fill you in on the details of their son Blake’s wedding to his new bride Teresa!

First, Kelli talks about her solo trip to Stockholm as part of a Stockholm LGBT fam trip to explore all parts of beautiful Stockholm. It also happened to be Stockholm Pride so that was an amazing experience too!

Anne talks about staying home and enjoying watching the Olympics and hanging with friends. When Kelli returned home, they continued to enjoy some downtime by cooking in and also exploring more of Jersey City and Hoboken.

Next, they get to the big wedding weekend. Starting with a rehearsal dinner, the wedding morning filled with mimosas, matching pajama sets, hair and makeup and lots of photos it was fun for all. Next was the very emotional ceremony. The kids’ childhood nanny Geraldine was the officiant all while their son Blake was super emotional and got everyone crying. After Blake and Teresa were married, they all hurried downstairs for lots of pictures all while the cocktail party was in full swing. The two of them asked Anne to sing her original song Timeless for their first dance and that was another extremely emotional moment. Kelli and Blake had their mother/ son dance to Edelweiss and then they all had dinner and danced the night away. All in all, it was a beautiful evening and they are so happy to welcome Teresa to their family!

Following the wedding, Kelli & Anne joined Kelli’s siblings, husbands & wives and her parents for a short weekend getaway to Atlantic City to celebrate her mom’s 80th birthday. Hear all about the fun few days that included fabulous meals and a very interesting show.

They also get super excited about the Democratic National Convention and remind everyone that even though there is a lot of excitement right now about Kamala Harris, we can’t relax. We need to get everyone to VOTE, volunteer and donate!

Anne again talks about the idea of Gig Trips. It’s the best way to combine what she does, concerts in different cities or ships, and what Kelli does, TRAVEL. They will plan a weekend trip in different places so you can join them. It starts with Palm Springs (weekend of Nov 15th-17th) with Anne’s concert at Toucan’s Tiki Lounge on Nov 16th. Next is NYC at Christmastime with Anne’s holiday concert at Green Room 42 on Wed, Dec 4th (Kelli already has a hotel block secured for those days that follow). Then in 2025 they go to sea starting with Anne headlining on the Celebrity Silhouette from NJ to Bermuda from June 1st-8th. Then join them while Anne headlines on an Atlas Ocean Voyages mega yacht from July 30th-Aug 8th. They are sailing from Stockholm to Copenhagen with stops in Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and Denmark! You can find all of her tour dates at www.annesteele.com
