EP 42: Erin Wilson on Basically Making Muskies Her Entire Identity
Description
Today's guest has devoted her education, career and hear to understanding one of themes elusive fish in Canada... The mighty musky! She's a Fisheries Technician working with Fisheries and Oceans Canada and a recent masters graduate from the fish ecology and conservation physiology lab where she studied musky movement and post release behavior deep within a remote lake in the Algonquin Provincial Park. But beyond the data and telemetry tags, Erin runs her own online bakery business, loves ice fishing and all things winter and is a real girls girl. Her passion for muskies is bridging the world of science and sport in a way few people ever have. We're diving into her fieldwork, her journey and the wild balance between being a researcher, a hard-core angler and a girl. This one's a perfect mix of science, adventure and pure heart. Please welcome Erin Wilson!!
