Jihyun Park's story is one of determination and courage. Jihyun was born in North Korea in 1968 and later escaped there not once but twice. Growing up under one of the world's longest-running dictatorships, she’s seen events in her life that would break most of us.

From witnessing public executions, being a victim of human trafficking and later being imprisoned. Jihyun's resilience kept her going across her 10 year journey of escaping North Korea to making it to the UK in 2008.

Jihyun continues to raise awareness of the plight of North Korean women and the criminal injustice against humanity. Jihyun's story is one that needs to be shared with the world. Join Gian Power as he interviews Jihyun Park to hear her remarkable story.
