EP18: Stefan Koelsch
Description
Tomorrow’s exciting episode of SoundPower features Stefan Koelsch, professor of Biological, Medical and Music Psychology at the University of Bergen, music neuroscientist, psychologist, violinist and bestselling author of Brain and Music and Good Vibrations.
His work maps how music engages the brain systems for emotion, memory, attention and language, and how those insights translate into health and therapeutic practice. He has led influential studies using EEG, MEG and fMRI, and founded the “Neurocognition of Music” research group at the Max Planck Institute.
From concert hall to clinic and lab, he investigates how music shapes the nervous system and our capacity to heal, connect and feel.
Ladies and gentlemen… the wonderful Stefan Koelsch.
