Pedro Rodrigues Filho, known as “The Brazilian Dexter,” was a real-life, self-proclaimed vigilante serial killer once referred to as the “perfect psychopath.”  This ruthless individual ranks in the top 5 serial killers of all time globally, and by his own estimate was responsible for taking the lives of over 100 drug dealers, criminals, rapists, and murderers. While Pedro was undoubtedly brutal and capable of committing absolute atrocities against other men, he was often thanked, celebrated, and deemed morally righteous.   This case provides a deep-dive into the outlandishly savage life and actions of a violent perpetrator (or vigilante, depending on who you ask) who served as the inspiration behind the media sensation/award winning character, Dexter Morgan.
