EP62: Sameena Khan - Homeopathy @ The Riojen Outreach Clinic GAMBIA
Description
In this episode Wren and Leslie speak to Sameena Khan who set up the Gambia homeopathic project almost 20 years ago, initially with mobile clinics, then with some help and funding from Centre for Homeopathic Education. The Manduar village community donated land for a static clinic building in which the clinic ran until the closing during Covid.
Sameena reopened the clinic as the Riojen Outreach Clinic in Manduar Gambia in May 2025 with Wren helping her to coordinate tech and a team of 80+ homeopaths & student homeopaths from around the world. They are pioneering telehealth with a Gambian clinic staff who are training in homeopathy; the longer term aim being for the Gambian staff to run the clinic independently [with funding help] in the future. <3
