I want to open a million stories:

When we dare to speak, who are we?

When we risk ourselves to sing, who do we present?

And the sounds within us, can we love their shadows as well as their light?

Spirits grow in safety and wither in threat,

Lend your ears to courage,

Your voice is your hope.
