Episode 112. From a long list of crazy podcasts, this one takes some beating. Joining us from the south of France is Ed Courage. At 68 years old, he was one of three survivors of the freak helicopter crash discussed in episode 108. Talk about having a bad day: he was thrown out of the heli into an avalanche which ended when he landed on a very narrow ice bridge 30m (100ft) down a crevasse. Terribly injured, he teetered above what seemed like a bottomless crevasse for 5 hours until he could be rescued. It's incredible he survived to tell the tale. What a story this is...
