Eddie Ray grew up in North Carolina and worked his way to the top of the record industry, promoting artists like Fats Domino, Freddie and the Dreamers and Ricky Nelson. Eddie and Mike Curb, from Curb Records, helped put The NC Music Hall of Fame on the map, where today they honor Randy Travis, George Hamilton IV, Don Williams, Earl Scruggs, Andy Griffith and many more Tar Heel greats. Under President Ronald Reagan he led the effort to get fare compensation for writers and artist in the world of music.
