Description
There is an effort in Congress to keep SNAP benefits funded through the government shutdown. Senator John Cornyn has signed onto a bill being pushed by Missouri's Josh Hawley that would appropriate necessary funding to provide uninterrupted SNAP benefits to three and a half million Texans.
