What happens when you revisit the journals and videos you swore you’d never forget - only to realize you barely remember them? In this episode, I take a step back into my 2019 return to the Camino de Santiago, digging through old notes, unearthing long-buried thoughts, and questioning why we record memories only to leave them behind.

I walked the Camino twice, each time with a different purpose. The first, a challenge: performing Underneath the Lintel along the way. The second, just to walk. To experience. To see what the road had in store. But now, looking back, I find myself asking - why do I keep journals but never read them? Why do I struggle to let go of the past, yet avoid looking at it too closely?

From the vineyards of Rioja to the quiet mornings leaving Estella, from serendipitous encounters with strangers to a special performance in Nájera, this is a journey through time as much as it is a walk through Spain. Ultimately, it leads to one simple truth: the most important moment is this one, right now.

So, lace up your boots…or don’t. This is a podcast - you can listen in your slippers.
