Description

On the evening of May 24, 2020, 52-year-old Emily Noble was out celebrating her birthday with her husband. They stopped at several restaurants in a popular part of Westerville, Ohio, and then made their way home for the evening. During the night, Emily’s husband got up to use the restroom and then went back to sleep in a guest room, not wanting to disturb Emily. When he woke up later that morning, Emily was gone, and her wallet, phone, keys, and car were still at the residence. Emily has not been seen since the evening she went out for her birthday, and rumors and allegations have swirled around this story from day one.

Last week, human remains were found in a wooded area not far from Emily's condo. At this time, those remains have not been identified.

On September 22, 2020, the Westerville Police Department held a press conference about the remains recovered last week. They said that the dental comparison was "consistent" with Emily Noble's dental records but that they are going to do DNA test to be sure. The DNA comparison could take some time. The autopsy is not complete, there is no news on a cause or manner of death. They also mentioned that the area was searched by authorities multiple times, at least one time with cadaver dogs. Emily's family has been notified and Matt was notified via his attorney. Our thoughts are with Emily's loved ones at this time.

June 2021 UPDATE- On June 17, 2021, Emily Noble's husband, Matheau Moore, was arrested and charged with two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault. In a press conference, law enforcement stated that “Emily had multiple facial and neck fractures. This was a clear case of homicide staged as a suicide.”

In August of 2022, Matheau Moore was found not guilty.

Does anyone else think that the first part of Matt's description of Emily is so weird?? He physically describes her and in such an odd way. Also, I want to know what evidence the jury was shown or not shown to find him not guilty. I guess there must have been reasonable doubt somewhere, but I don't see it. He was the last one who saw her, and she was found with serious trauma. How else did that happen? He said he wants to find her, but he never goes to a single search? Nope, I don't agree with the jury.

Interesting. Hope there is justice for Emily. He probably staged his sons death too. https://www.10tv.com/article/news/crime/jurors-see-exact-spot-where-emily-nobles-body-found/530-eff2ca72-8122-45e3-bb99-96de4d16ddc1

I am glad they found her body. Hopefully they can find clues about her death. Matt’s brain injury, if proven it happened, in his teens can compromise impulse control. When he speaks it is obvious he has trouble organizing his thoughts and thinking before speaking. I am highly suspicious of him in regards to his son’s apparent suicide and of his wife missing. Hope the truth is found.

This episode was great, we heard from a good number of her friends. However the editing let it down. On at least 5 occasions it skipped backwards and repeated what had literally just played.

yeah you don't go sleep in the guest bedroom unless you have had some problems.....not out of courtesy as I mean do you just go sleep in a different room every time you get up in the night?
