1 in 5 Children struggles with food insecurity in the US. End 68 Hours of Hunger is a public non-profit effort to confront the approximately 68 hours of hunger that some school children experience between the free lunch they receive in school Friday and the free breakfast they receive on Monday.
Today I speak with Rachel Yakey, Program Coordinator for the Londonderry, NH End 68 Hours of Hunger.
Rachel tells us more about the program. How hunger affects kids and what people can do to help.
