Description
The Dairy Alliance, funded by dairy farm families, has expanded its youth wellness programs in schools across the Southeast by awarding grants to benefit nearly 375,000 students. Through initiatives like Dairy Optimization (DO), Fuel Up, and GENYOUth grants, the organization is promoting dairy milk consumption and providing resources for schools to serve milk in fresh and engaging ways, supporting student health and well-being. The Youth Wellness team also trains school nutrition staff to effectively implement dairy nutrition education programs.
