Eni, an Italian energy company, has secured a ten-year LNG supply deal with Thailands Gulf Development Company, starting in 2027. This deal, following a smaller 2024 agreement, reflects Thailands increasing reliance on imported LNG due to declining domestic gas production. Enis first long-term LNG supply into Thailand is part of their strategy to grow their global LNG portfolio and expand in Asian markets, aiming for twenty million tons per year by 2030.
