I was very excited to have Brian Slagel the CEO of Metal Blade Records as a guest on my podcast. I have been a huge fan of Metal Blade since I was a teenager so to have Brian on as a guest was an honor. We talked about how he got into metal music, growing up in the Los Angeles scene, starting his own fanzine, putting out a compilation record which featured Metallica, Ratt, Avatar, & more, starting Metal Blade Records, and a ton more.
