Four Feather Falls was AP Films’ first original series devised by composer Barry Gray. Unofficially it was the first television series to use a form of Supermarionation puppets, although this famous title would not be coined until the next series. Broadcast in 1960 across the ITV Network, Four Feather Falls was a western cowboy series with a touch of magic in the air. Sheriff of the town Four Feather Falls, Tex Tucker, possesses four magic feathers which enable his dog and horse to talk, and his guns to fire at the first sign of danger without him so much as touching them. With these fantastic assets, Tex Tucker and the loveable townsfolk of Four Feather Falls regularly see off threats to the peace from the most low-down characters in the west. What will Jack and Katherine make of this western with a difference?

Jack’s a massive Gerry Anderson (Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet, Space: 1999 etc.) fan, and Katherine isn’t. In order to bring about peace in the household, Katherine has agreed to watch the first episode of every Gerry Anderson series in existence.
