Donnie Piercey is the 2021 Kentucky teacher of the year and he joins us to talk about that experience, plus his fun approach in the classroom. At the centre of his practice is teaching kids to create, rather than to consume. We also practice how to say "fermented shark" with an Icelandic accent. It does not go well.
