Inspired by Amie McNee’s TED Talk, “The Case for Making Art When the World Is on Fire,” they take on the idea that art is frivolous in hard times. McNee argues the opposite—creativity isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. Art soothes, connects, and gives meaning. It heals bodies, minds, and communities. It’s also resistance, hope, and a legacy that endures long after us.
In this spirit, the team also reflects on nearly five years of conversations with remarkable creative people.
