Taking attendance seems like the easiest and most important thing a teacher can do. Ironically, when I struggle to be present, attendance is the first thing I forget. Plus, I talk to two fantastic former students from my days at #ChiArts High School, Crystal Arrington and Justice Ford about what it means to be an educator nowadays.
