In this episode, we discuss the benefits and challenges of converting general luminaires to emergency luminaires and also designing bespoke specialised fittings. From an architectural perspective, it is ideal to keep the consistency of luminaire design throughout a building although this does bring some challenges around maintenance and reliability of the emergency capabilities due to several key factors.
