Update: 2021-08-21
Description
We all want AI to be trustworthy, safe, and responsible - especially as it comes out of the ivory tower and into our everyday lives. The problem with this is that few people know how to do this very thing well. Experience shows us that the costs of getting this wrong will be large, indeed.
However, we're fortunate to have some of the best people in the world thinking about this problem on a daily basis. And also, we're fortunate to have one of those very people on the show with us today.
Airl's Dr. Ampofo interviews Annie Veillet of PricewaterhouseCoopers. Annie is a Partner in PwC's Analytics Practice, leading Canada's AI offerings. She has experience in the planning, design, and delivery of complex AI, analytics, data management, and intelligent automation solutions.
She co-led the development of PwC’s Global Responsible AI Toolkit, which recently won four awards (including the Outstanding Achievements - overall category winner) at the CogX 2020 Summit.
Annie was recognized as '100+ Brilliant Women in AI Ethics' in 2020 and by Re-Work as one of the Top 30 Influential Women Advancing AI in Montreal in 2019. She also actively mentors Women in AI through programs like AI4Good.
