In this weeks episode, Shelby and Charlie go in the wayback machine to explore the "interesting" life of Leonarda Cianciulli, "The Soap-Maker of Correggio." Brought up in an abusive home, Leonarda would finally find an escape when she married her husband, Raffaele. However, the clutches of paranoia and mental health issues would have its claws deep in Leonarda's psyche. Fearing her son joining the military, she turned to alchemy to help keep him safe... no matter the cost.
