No two experiences are the same, but she empathizes with her patients, due to her own experiences & hold space for her clients, without judgment.
She is a true believer in equity & integrity, recognizing that cultural & social systems are severely lacking in both of those values. She stresses that our mental health is not only affected by challenges in our personal lives, but the way our cultural structures, systems, & norms impact - often oppress & harm - us, too.
While we can’t dismantle those larger social issues in our therapy sessions, she can offer you a safe, affirming place to explore their impact.
