Description

Having just completed a multi-year, multi-million year rebuild of one of Scotland's iconic inland courses, David gives a fascinating insight about sand-capping fairways, new drainage methods, bunker liners and turf grass. Considering the course has over 220 rain days ever year and receives in excess of 80 inches (that's over 2 metres) of rain each year, never has the old saying of 'golf is 90% drainage and 10% common sense' been more apt.
