Jana Zlunkova is 23 years old, born and raised in the Czech Republic, and has been living abroad for the past 5 years. Jana and I met during study abroad in Scotland and since then she’s been studying abroad and been an au pair in Belgium, did an internship in Spain and is now preparing to move to Honduras. In this episode, we are chatting about what it’s like being an au pair in Belgium, how to find trustworthy au pair hosts, what’s different traveling now vs before the pandemic, how Jana deals with the uncertainty that comes with traveling nowadays and how she got a volunteer English teacher position in Honduras.
